In the province we believe that that 2010 is a once in a life-time opportunity. We believe that it is our moment as a country, province and continent to show the rest of the world that “we can deliver”. We must grasp this opportunity. We must embrace it with open arms. We are extremely honoured that FIFA LOC CEO Dr. Danny Jordaan also joins us in the celebration to launch this vital platform that is so critical to the success of 2010 in our province of KwaZulu-Natal.
The website provides information, news and updates on provincial preparations and developments regarding the tournament. The KZN 2010 portal serves the greater KZN community and the world at large with up-to-date news, latest events, local soccer developments and much more!
Driven by the Department of Economic Development (DED), this website visibly markets and promotes the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ and will serve to keep our public informed of events and decisions ahead of this magnificent showpiece. Hosting a successful 2010 will be beneficial to our province. I am proud of our positive preparations so far! It is a team effort with the province working hand in hand with the Host City Durban to deliver a successful 2010 for all our people and all our visitors.
